Xiaomi releases watches just like the Apple Watch

CMi Watch looks like Apple products from the screen, knob, hard keys to the interface, but cheaper, from $ 185.

The Mi Watch, released on November 5, is Xiaomi’s first smartwatch to carry the Mi brand and has been likened to a wrist phone by the Chinese manufacturer. The product is expected to be sold from 11/11 for $ 185 for the standard version.

The point that many people pay attention to in the Mi Watch is the design too similar to the Apple Watch, although the product runs on Google’s Wear OS platform and MIUI interface. It has a 1.78-inch AMOLED screen, supports always-on display like the Apple Watch series 5 and the 44 mm case. The right side is a control knob similar to the Digital Crown typical of Apple Watch. The device also has a button located below. The opposite side is the microphone system, external speaker.

Even the watch interface and apps have the same graphical style and color as WatchOS. Xiaomi says its smartwatch is installed with more than 40 different applications, supporting Bluetooth, NFC and eSim, focusing on health monitoring with heart rate and motion tracking.

The Mi Watch is powered by the Snapdragon Wear 3100 4G chip with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB memory. The product is said to have a 570 mAh battery, the largest on a smartwatch and gives up to 36 hours of use for 4G connectivity.

Like Apple, in addition to the standard aluminum case, Mi Watch also has a special version using a steel case and Sapphire glass screen, priced at 285 USD and expected to be available on the market by the end of 2019.
