2020 Hyundai Verna costs from 10,400 USD

CHINA: The upgraded B-class sedan changes the design, refines the size, installs the 1.4 petrol engine, and sells 4 versions.

Verna is another name for Hyundai Accent in China. Compared to the current version, the 2020 Verna changes the design with a new style grille, seamless headlamps that pull backwards, the two sides of the cavity are more aggressive. The rear light cluster uses full LED technology and is connected through the company’s logo. The rear bumper and the positioning lights are more sporty.

The new Verna is 25 mm longer at 4,405 mm, 1,720 mm wide by 8 mm narrower and 5 mm lower at 1,455 mm. The wheelbase remains the same at 2,600 mm. Optional 15 or 16 inch rims.

Inside almost unchanged, the Korean automaker upgraded the new 8-inch infotainment screen, 12.3-inch digital dashboard and comes with Hyundai BlueLink technology. Safety equipment with collision avoidance assistance, driver’s attention alert, lane keep assist

The new Verna uses a 1.4-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine, producing 99 horsepower at 6,000 rpm, maximum torque of 132.4 Nm at 4,000 rpm. Select 6-speed manual or CVT gearbox.
