2020 Hyundai Grandeur – rival Toyota Avalon revealed

KOREA: The upgraded mid-size sedan (facelift) for the domestic market has been redesigned from the inside out.

Hyundai locates the Grandeur between Sonata and Genesis G80 in the Korean market. Before 2017, this sedan had been sold in the US and had another name, Azera. Grandeur’s rival is Toyota Avalon.
The design of Grandeur is inherited from the new generation Sonata with large grille, with integrated lights. The rear features a rear light strip with LED strips that extend the width of the car, a rear bumper with a aggressive design with chrome exhaust pipes divided equally on both sides. 19 inch multi-spoke wheels.

Inside, Hyundai redesigned with a 12.3-inch digital dashboard, connected to the same-sized touchscreen. New central touch screen control panel, digital display. Button controls the gearbox instead of the basic lever type. Air conditioner new, thinner. Display screen HUD driver glass, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, sound system JBL 12 speakers.

Grandeur 2020 is equipped with a 2.5 liter petrol engine combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission. In addition, customers in Korea also have a choice of a hybrid engine, including a 2.4-liter petrol engine with a 38 kW electric motor, 6-speed automatic transmission, lithium-ion battery pack and LPi 3.0 version using LPG gas.

As planned, the 2020 Hyundai Grandeur will be sold from 2020 in Korea.
